DENVER — Last night, former President Donald Trump announced his candidacy for 2024. Following his speech, reporters and politicians recalled the numerous unfulfilled campaign promises that defined his time in office. Voices of Health Care Action Founder and stage 4 cancer survivor Laura Packard weighed in on his failure to deliver on the health care plan that he first promised the American people seven years ago.
“Seven years ago, Donald Trump promised to replace Obama care with ‘something terrific’ and provide ‘insurance for everybody’.”

Laura Packard is the founder of Voices of Health Care Action, executive director of Health Care Voter, and a stage-4 cancer survivor. She was blocked by President Trump on Twitter in 2017, while he was attempting to dismantle Obamacare which was saving her life.
